Key Responsibilities

  • •Line-manage and grow the team through 1:1s, recruitment, performance, mentorship, and day-to-day technical direction.
  • •Own the technical architecture and direction for distributed multimodal embedding spaces, MCP server tooling, and user-facing chat agents plus UI.
  • •Translate ambiguous high-level direction into a clear narrative and concrete, well-scoped projects.
  • •Set and maintain high standards for clean architecture, system design, and testable, incremental delivery.
  • •Stay hands-on with code and the technical stack to make architectural calls, conduct code reviews, and unblock the team.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, clean code principles, and testability.
  • •Deep proficiency in Python and cloud experience (ideally GCP, including Vertex AI, Cloud Run, and BigQuery).
  • •Hands-on experience with embeddings, vector search, LLM tooling, and agentic workflows; MCP / Model Context Protocol is a strong plus.
  • •Ability to untangle ambiguity and turn broad goals into shipped, high-quality production systems.
  • •Ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling storylines for both technical and non-technical stakeholders; people-leadership experience is a plus.
