Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct desk studies, site investigations, complex modeling for remediation solutions, and groundwater modeling with reporting.
  • •Research remediation technologies and develop accurate conceptual site and groundwater models from field and laboratory data.
  • •Monitor and verify remediation contractor work to ensure compliance with the remediation plan.
  • •Coordinate subcontractors and supervise soil investigation activities while collecting soil and groundwater data.
  • •Maintain regular contact with regulatory authorities and coordinate relationships with clients, subcontractors, and laboratories.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology, Geography, Bioengineering, or another technical, environmental, or chemical discipline.
  • •Native or fluent Dutch speaker with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • •Some experience in environmental consulting is an advantage, with an affinity for soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects.
  • •Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • •Good knowledge of Dutch soil and groundwater legislation (historical and current), plus a valid Category B driver’s license.
