Key Responsibilities

  • •Own sanctions program end to end, including strategy, risk appetite, policy frameworks, and program roadmap.
  • •Continuously assess sanctions risk across products, channels, and markets and drive remediation and program enhancements.
  • •Govern restricted-party screening and enforcement controls, including list configuration, thresholds, escalation criteria, vendor management, and exception review.
  • •Direct regulator-facing matters such as voluntary self-disclosures, blocking/reject reports, licensing questions, and inquiries, in partnership with counsel.
  • •Lead, mentor, and develop compliance professionals, and report program health, key risks, and emerging issues to I&C leadership and the Audit Committee.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience leading an economic sanctions compliance program (e.g., OFAC, EU, UK) including program design, policy ownership, and risk governance.
  • •Experience managing voluntary self-disclosures and blocking/reject reports end to end, coordinating counsel, internal stakeholders, and remediation.
  • •Experience assessing sanctions risk on an ongoing basis and owning remediation through to closure.
  • •Experience governing restricted-party screening, including list scope, match thresholds, escalation criteria, and screening vendor management.
  • •Working knowledge of US export controls (EAR and BIS rules) to oversee export controls and partner with technical subject-matter experts.
