Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure overall engineering execution within the program and maintain decision authority for engineering activities.
  • •Conduct Engineering Bid Reviews (EBRs) and Engineering Program Reviews (EPRs), and support Program Management Reviews (PMRs) for engineering matters.
  • •Manage engineering budget and schedule and collaborate with engineering cost account managers to develop executable Estimates at Completion (EAC).
  • •Ensure staffing forecasts are accurate and coordinate appropriate staffing across engineering discipline organizations.
  • •Oversee engineering risks and opportunities, manage supplier engineering in line with requirements and processes, and provide accurate engineering metrics and status reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Engineer, Project Engineer, or Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead.
  • •Working knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines with a strong focus on communications systems development.
  • •Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
  • •Experience in all phases of development program lifecycle and in Risk and Opportunity management.
  • •Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 10 years relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years of experience.
