Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as Project Manager for small to large ports and navigation projects including dredging, beneficial use of dredged materials, feasibility studies and coastal restoration projects.
  • •Provide technical leadership for projects from the planning phase through construction on all aspects of multi-disciplinary projects.
  • •Coordinate with other discipline leads, clients, consultants, and agencies in management and implementation of projects.
  • •Prepare technical memoranda, planning studies and final design calculations, plans and specifications.
  • •Mentor junior staff and build relationships with clients and industry professionals.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS in Coastal, Ocean, Naval Architecture, or Civil Engineering plus 8 years of relevant work experience, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • •Texas Professional Engineer License.
  • •Willingness to travel (typically for one to three days occasionally).
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with clients, consultants, and agencies.
  • •Knowledge or familiarity in AutoCAD and/or GIS.
