Key Responsibilities

  • •Hands-on coding/debugging to resolve customer issues, analyze customer use-cases, and feed patches/fixes back to mainline software.
  • •Bring up customer boards with the Linux kernel and device drivers as reference boards.
  • •Serve as a subject-matter expert consultant to FAE, customers, and partners on Linux system software, kernel, and high-speed IO drivers.
  • •Optimize power and performance through driver optimization to achieve maximum platform/silicon entitlement in customer products.
  • •Author applications notes and present training; prepare and deploy packages across different Linux distros integrating required components.

Salary: INR 4,839,450 - 6,913,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in CS/EE with 11+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience developing embedded Linux software for user and kernel mode device drivers, bootloaders, and kernel configuration/tuning.
  • •High-speed IO driver experience and debugging (PCIe, USB, SATA) plus IO protocols (I2C, SPI, etc.).
  • •Experience with open-source management, generating/upstreaming patches, and working across Linux kernels, distros, and build infrastructure.
  • •Hands-on embedded debugging skills and knowledge of CPU system architecture and x86 or ARM HW platforms.
