Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the development and pricing of new Fixed Annuity, Fixed Indexed Annuity, and Registered Index-Linked Annuity products and features.
  • •Build, maintain, and enhance MG-ALFA pricing models and establish modeling assumptions.
  • •Perform profitability, sensitivity, and scenario analyses to evaluate product profitability and risk.
  • •Evaluate competitor products to assess market positioning and identify product-design or risk-mitigation opportunities.
  • •Interpret modeling results, communicate key findings and tradeoffs, and provide technical guidance to junior actuarial team members.

Key Requirements

  • •ASA designation required; may have an FSA designation.
  • •Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a strong quantitative background, including college-level mathematics.
  • •Six to nine years of relevant actuarial experience.
  • •Hands-on experience building, maintaining, or enhancing models in MG-ALFA.
  • •Experience with actuarial pricing, product development, or financial modeling; knowledge of annuity product lines is preferred.
