Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end HV substation design activities from concept studies through detailed design, including Grid Connection Agreements and FEED.
  • •Coordinate interfaces between incoming HV infrastructure and internal facility power systems, including generators, UPS, MSBs, and switchgear.
  • •Support and oversee commissioning activities, including SAP switching protocols and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
  • •Coordinate HV civil engineering packages associated with grid connection projects and review method statements, designs, and technical documentation.
  • •Ensure adherence to regulations and project specifications, monitor risks/change management, and provide progress reporting as the client’s on-site representative with key stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Engineering (BSc / MSc or equivalent experience).
  • •Strong background in HV substations, transmission/distribution projects, or grid-related civil works.
  • •Construction sector experience, ideally within a Data Centre environment.
  • •Exposure to large scale complex projects with effective, direct client collaboration.
  • •Fluent in Spanish and very good English, with willingness to be present on-site as required.
