Job Summary

Serve as a Networking Managed Services Engineer (L2) on-site, ensuring clients’ IT infrastructure and systems stay operational. You will monitor queues, review tickets, and proactively identify, analyze, and resolve incidents and medium-complexity requests within SLAs. Partner with clients and internal teams for swift service restoration, support shift handovers, escalate when needed, and collaborate on automation to reduce routine work and improve ticket quality and change management.

Key Responsibilities

•Proactively monitor queues, review client requests and tickets, and resolve incidents and medium-complexity requests efficiently within SLAs.
•Identify, analyze, and log issues before they escalate, and update tickets with actions taken.
•Coordinate with clients and internal teams to restore services quickly and execute changes with clear risk identification and mitigation.
•Handle shift handover by highlighting key tickets and upcoming critical tasks for the next shift; escalate to CoEs and other teams when needed.
•Collaborate with automation teams to optimize and automate routine tasks; coach L1/Service desk teams and support change management, including auditing tickets and logging change requests.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency with networking/security technologies such as Pulse Secure SSL VPN, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco Nexus switches/routers/firewalls, plus familiarity with ticketing tools.
•At least one technical certification in the above-mentioned technologies.
•Strong planning skills to anticipate and adapt to changing circumstances.
•Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures, with active listening and client-centric communication.
•A bachelor’s degree in IT/Computing (or equivalent qualification) or equivalent work experience.
