Key Responsibilities

  • •Qualify VFDs for use in Trane products and integrate them into HVAC equipment.
  • •Apply variable speed drives to HVAC equipment, especially compressors and fans.
  • •Interface unit-level controls and safety features to the drive.
  • •Analyze motor-drive compatibility and tune electrical system performance, including parameter settings.
  • •Provide lifecycle support with field and factory problem resolution and support qualification testing.
