Job Summary

Own month-end, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including consolidation packs to head office and inputs for Board and EXCO reporting. Manage statutory reporting and intercompany reviews while ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements. Upload actual, forecast, and budget figures into Hyperion and Prevero, perform tax calculations and returns (income tax, VAT, WHT, PAYE), support audits, and supervise the financial and commercial reporting team.

Key Responsibilities

•Consolidate month-end financial information and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs for head office and business units.
•Upload actual, forecast, and budget information onto Hyperion and Prevero.
•Supervise preparation and consolidation of annual financial statements and statutory reporting, and review intercompany transactions for tax and statutory compliance.
•Perform tax calculations and manage tax returns (income tax, VAT, WHT, and PAYE) with attention to filing dates.
•Provide oversight of the financial and commercial reporting team and assist with internal and external audits.

Key Requirements

•6 years post-qualifying experience as a CA(SA) / CTA with articles.
•Advanced Excel skills, including evidence of Excel modeling.
•Oracle and Hyperion experience.
•Good technical background in IFRS and understanding of tax.
•Excellent people management skills to work with people at all levels.
