Job Summary

Lead day-to-day 2nd shift production by partnering with the Production Supervisor to keep work safe and on schedule. Enforce company policies and safety regulations, update safety/compliance information in company systems, and execute the posted production plan while addressing gaps. Support training and team communication, package and maintain production documents for processing, and inspect equipment and work progress to ensure specifications are met.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Production Supervisor to ensure assignments are carried out safely and successfully.
•Enforce company policies and safety regulations; report issues to management or address them directly.
•Execute the posted production schedule and identify gaps or needed changes; fill gaps by working in production.
•Ensure employees receive appropriate compliance, safety, and technical training as needed.
•Inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and that specifications are met, while maintaining attendance/work schedule information for payroll.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (equivalent required); college degree preferred.
•Prior production/manufacturing experience required; concrete manufacturing experience is a plus.
•Ability to communicate effectively with team members and act as a role model with a good attendance record and positive attitude.
•Experience leading people in some capacity is a plus.
•Ability to work in a plant production environment and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
