Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development and continuous improvement of scalable data and analytics solutions delivering measurable business value.
  • •Own the end-to-end data product lifecycle, including requirements definition, user stories, prioritisation, roadmaps, and delivery planning.
  • •Define product guarantees (grain, definitions, refresh frequency, service levels) and hold the product to those standards.
  • •Lead, coach and mentor a high-performing cross-functional team and support capability development.
  • •Drive data governance, privacy, security, compliance and quality standards, and translate insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualifications in applied statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, econometrics, engineering or a related quantitative field.
  • •5+ years’ experience in data science, data management, or product management, focused on data platforms, data engineering, data science, AI/ML, or software development.
  • •Strong understanding of data architecture, reusable datasets, schemas, ETL pipelines, and modern cloud data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • •Strong understanding of Agile delivery and cross-functional leadership through iterative development cycles.
  • •Broad capability across data engineering, data visualisation, and analytics practices with deep expertise in at least one specialist area.
