Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Project HSE Management Plan across construction supervision activities.
  • •Act as the primary HSE representative for WSP, working with client, contractors, subcontractors, supervision teams, and relevant authorities.
  • •Review and assess contractors’ HSE documentation and monitor compliance with project HSE requirements, contractual obligations, and Saudi regulatory requirements.
  • •Oversee HSE performance across major roads, highways, and associated infrastructure works, including traffic management and public protection measures.
  • •Lead incident investigations, ensure root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions, and maintain accurate reporting and records for inspections, audits, incidents, training, and meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • •Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (NEBOSH Diploma preferred).
  • •15+ years’ experience in HSE roles within construction.
  • •Significant experience on major roads, highways, bridges, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • •Previous experience in the Middle East/GCC is mandatory; Saudi Arabia project experience highly advantageous.
