Job Summary

Lead and support the barback team during event operations at HISTORY Ottawa, a high-volume live entertainment venue. Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support the barback team during event operations in a high-volume concert venue.
•Help train, mentor, and support new barback staff while promoting venue standards and expectations.
•Delegate tasks and provide direction to barback staff to maintain efficient and organized bar operations.
•Ensure bars are fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, ice, glassware, and supplies before, during, and after events.
•Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards across all bar and storage areas, and troubleshoot operational issues to support smooth execution.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 20 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must be Smart Serve Certified and at least 19 years of age.
•2 years minimum experience as a barback or similar role in a high-volume environment.
•Knowledge of various spirits, beers, and wines.
•Strong communication skills, written and verbal in English.
•Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
