Job Summary

Design and build the core identity foundation for a consumer identity platform, including authentication, account systems, profiles, preferences, consent, privacy controls, account linking, and identity resolution. Architect Raptive ID across web, mobile, creator and community experiences, and third-party surfaces. Prototype, validate, review, and ship identity capabilities, lead build-vs-buy evaluations for vendors, and drive secure, privacy-conscious patterns across engineering, product, security, legal, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Design the architecture for a consumer identity platform across web, mobile, creator sites, community experiences, on-site assistants, and third-party surfaces.
•Build and guide implementation of core identity infrastructure: authentication, account systems, user profiles, preference management, consent, privacy controls, account linking, and identity resolution.
•Prototype, validate, review, and ship identity platform capabilities through hands-on engineering.
•Evaluate third-party identity vendors and services to lead build-vs-buy analysis.
•Provide technical direction across engineering teams and partner with PMs and security, legal, privacy, and compliance stakeholders to implement consistent, privacy-conscious identity patterns.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience architecting, building, and scaling consumer identity systems across web and/or mobile products.
•Deep technical knowledge of modern identity architecture, including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OIDC, SSO, session management, account linking, identity resolution, passwordless authentication, and passkeys.
•Hands-on engineering ability to prototype, review implementation details, evaluate tradeoffs, and contribute directly when needed.
•Experience making pragmatic build-vs-buy decisions and integrating third-party identity platforms into complex production systems.
•Strong understanding of security, privacy, consent, regulatory, and data protection considerations for consumer identity.
