Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage one or more moderately complex projects, potentially across multiple services and regional footprints.
  • •Oversee project phases from beginning to close out, including design management and coordination with architects/engineers/design consultants.
  • •Control design phase cost, budget, and schedule; assist with developing project schedule and budget inclusive of construction and soft costs.
  • •Coordinate jurisdictional approvals, permitting, construction logistics planning, bidding, and construction contract review/coordination.
  • •Provide fiscal and contract oversight: review change orders, monitor schedule/cost variances, verify payment applications, resolve disputes, and direct quality control efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Five years of full-time paid professional experience managing facilities design or planning/coordination of capital projects including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling (preferred).
  • •Experience managing construction management procedures and construction industry practices.
  • •Manage projects $10M and above (preferred).
  • •Preferred licenses/certificates: CA architect registration or PE; CCM; LEED Professional Accreditation; DBIA certification.
