Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, enhance, and test routing protocols and related control plane software, including programmatic interfaces and APIs to the routing control subsystem
  • •Collaborate with team members, QA and Support teams on development, debugging, and bug fixing
  • •Work with Yang, SNMP, telemetry components and related tooling
  • •Contribute to Free Range Routing and other open-source projects
  • •Potentially participate in design reviews and debugging sessions to improve reliability

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • •A minimum 5+ years of software development experience in routing protocols including BGP, EVPN, PIM, OSPF, RIFT, or MPLS/SR or networking software or Yang or SNMP or Telemetry
  • •Strong C programming skills
  • •Strong technical abilities, problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills
  • •Knowledge in multiple control plane protocols (BGP/EVPN/OSPF/Multicast/Yang/SNMP/Telemetry) is a plus
