Originate residential first mortgage loans from outside referrals, owning the loan lifecycle from application through closing. Use tools like Fannie Mae Form 1003, daily rate and credit reporting, Loan Prospector responses, and LOMAS to manage documentation, pipeline, and timely customer updates while meeting cross-selling and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop referral contacts including realtors, builders, and professional and personal connections.
•Take and complete mortgage applications using Fannie Mae Form 1003 on a laptop.
•Use systems and data (daily rates, applicant credit reports, Loan Prospector responses) and transmit loans to LOMAS.
•Collect required applicant documentation, deliver loan packages within management time frames, and manage the pipeline through closing.
•Provide timely updates to branches and applicants and attend Consumer Lending meetings as required by management.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent is required; four-year college degree preferred.
•Knowledge of conventional and/or government lending guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•Requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
