Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end Free Cash Flow (FCF) planning and improvement initiatives across the global portfolio.
  • •Act as the primary FCF subject matter expert for regional finance teams to upskill and harmonize FCF planning capabilities across the group, especially working capital topics.
  • •Review consolidated regional submissions, challenge assumptions, and ensure accurate, robust group-level cash flow modelling.
  • •Analyze variances between actuals and budget/business expectations with a focus on working capital timing mismatches, structural changes, and submission errors.
  • •Lead the implementation of FCF planning within Anaplan and guide cross-functional stakeholders through the deployment lifecycle in line with group standards and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience gained in a corporate setting or through a blend of Big 4 advisory and corporate finance roles.
  • •Expert-level understanding of how P&L accruals, balance sheet movements, and cash-relevant items flow into top-down and bottom-up Free Cash Flow projections.
  • •Deep technical mastery of the cash conversion cycle (CCC) and working capital concepts, including DIO, DSO, and DPO, with driver-based forecasting for relevant accounts.
  • •Proven ability to bridge P&L tax expense and actual cash tax outflows, including timing and mechanics for corporate income tax, withholding taxes, VAT settlements, and deferred tax assets/liabilities.
  • •Strong knowledge of IFRS 16 capitalisation rules driving capex forecasting.
