Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems onsite at customer facilities, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, and blueprints/engineering specifications. Coordinate installation and repair needs with internal leaders and customers, enforce safety standards, and maintain accountability of company assets while supporting new setups and retrofits.

•Coordinate with team leader/project manager and customers to understand onsite installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, along with blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and working proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent violations (including DUI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, or suspended license) in the prior 3 years.
•EPA Certification.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
