Job Summary

Support New Product Development and Engineering by performing and documenting on-site laboratory tests (thermal performance, consumer product safety, lifecycle, abrasion/material properties, destructive testing, and environmental exposure). Maintain lab procedures and records with a focus on procedure adherence, data integrity, and record keeping. Manage sample intake and traceability, assist with lab equipment setup, and support creation of custom test methods, test reports, and lab fixtures/tooling.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform and document on-site laboratory tests including thermal performance, consumer product safety, accelerated life cycle, abrasion/material properties, destructive testing, environmental exposure, and durability/dimensional studies.
•Support identification and installation of new lab equipment and assist with design and fabrication of test fixtures/tooling.
•Create/refine custom test methods when existing standards are unavailable and author clear, accurate test reports in English.
•Support development, documentation, and standardization of lab procedures, work instructions, and test methods to build repeatable, well-controlled testing processes.
•Manage sample intake, organization, usage tracking, destruction, and audit traceability through accurate records of sample location, status, and lifecycle.

Key Requirements

•2+ years of hands-on technician experience in a testing or laboratory environment (preferably for a global consumer goods brand).
•Technical documentation and report writing in English; English proficiency required to communicate test methods, results, and findings.
•Comfort working with and analyzing large amounts of data, with strong organizational and time management skills.
•Strong mechanical aptitude and curiosity to understand why test outcomes occur.
•Experience with manual milling machine, cutting tools, or welding is preferred; personal transportation (car or motorcycle) with a license is required.
