Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lectures and assessments for diploma-level courses, including lab duties and demonstrations.
  • •Prepare, set up, and maintain engineering labs and workshops for experiments; receive, install, and troubleshoot equipment and supplies.
  • •Support faculty and students in using machines, tools, and equipment; assist with resourcing and implementing student projects.
  • •Maintain preventative maintenance schedules, manuals, and maintenance logs; ensure adequate inventories of consumables.
  • •Serve as a student advisor as assigned, reinforce safety and housekeeping procedures, and travel to other HCT colleges for meetings, workshops, and conferences as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of a Master’s degree.
  • •Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, with preference for industrial engineering experience.
  • •English proficiency is essential; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • •Advanced computer literacy to integrate technology in the workplace.
  • •Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills; previous short-span teaching experience is desirable.
