Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods to enable on-time, lowest-cost delivery with required performance and reliability.
  • •Design, control, and improve manufacturing process and system design with the value stream team, implementing improvements that reduce cycle time and cost while maintaining safety and quality.
  • •Provide production floor support to operations, including Continuous Improvement efforts, Defect Prevention Team (DPT) support, and Manufacturing Data Package (MDP) readiness.
  • •Support transition to production and production support across program phases, including proposal capture, process development, design interface/change requests, and NRE activities.
  • •Investigate and drive resolution of production problems using root cause and corrective action, interfacing with suppliers/supplier quality and other value streams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • •1+ year of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • •Ability to work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, test, and design.
  • •Preferred: technical drawing interpretation and GD&T.
