Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform teller functions and related financial service transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and cash advances) in person or by mail.
  • •Open, close, and maintain checking, savings, time deposits, IRAs, safe deposit boxes, and savings bonds; explain bank services to customers.
  • •Resolve customer questions and problems by listening, collecting data, securing answers, and assisting with disputes (including online, Master Money, ATM services, and deposit accounts).
  • •Cross-sell bank services and meet scorecard goals, including goals set for teller functions and customer service.
  • •Handle customer service/account maintenance work (including call center inquiries where assigned), complete documentation and required reports, and ensure privacy and teller procedure compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school graduate or equivalent.
  • •At least 1 year of related experience/cash handling required; previous teller experience preferred.
  • •Ability to communicate professionally and provide courteous, prompt customer service.
  • •Good math skills and ability to balance cash and resolve discrepancies accurately.
  • •Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment (e.g., adding machine, coin and money counting machines, telephone).
