Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain high-quality React and TypeScript applications aligned to agreed architecture and squad delivery priorities.
  • •Build reusable components, shared UI patterns, and design-system-aligned experiences, including implementation decisions for routing, state management, data fetching, forms, validation, error handling, and API integration.
  • •Write clean, maintainable, and secure front-end code following modern React patterns and engineering standards.
  • •Create and maintain automated tests across unit, component, integration, and end-to-end layers using tools such as Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
  • •Collaborate with UX/UI colleagues and Product Owners and troubleshoot front-end issues in delivery, quality, performance, or production stability, while participating in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •4-5 years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent capability demonstrated through delivery experience.
  • •Strong relevant experience delivering modern React and TypeScript applications in commercial or enterprise environments.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Strong hands-on proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, including maintainable front-end structures, reusable components, and consistent UI patterns.
  • •Experience implementing secure client-side integration with REST APIs and authentication/authorisation patterns, plus good automated testing capability and CI/CD experience.
