Key Responsibilities

  • •Scope and steer civil works from concept through detailed design and construction support, coordinating inputs across roads, drainage, utilities and pavements.
  • •Deliver civil engineering design projects in line with technical and commercial standards, timeframes, and cost budgets.
  • •Manage client communication and professional relationships, facilitating workshops and de-risking decisions to produce clear, compliant deliverables.
  • •Lead projects from inception to construction support, providing design management, superintendency, and site surveillance with a buildability and safety focus.
  • •Delegate and supervise junior engineers while mentoring emerging engineers and championing digital design and quality standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor to Master’s level degree in Civil Engineering.
  • •5-10 years of industry experience in the Building and Property sector.
  • •Commercial experience in Australia delivering local medium/large building civil engineering projects.
  • •Experience delivering multiple concurrent projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, industrial, land development, subdivisions and infrastructure/roads.
  • •Working knowledge of Australian standards and codes (AS/NZS 3500, NCC etc.) and experience with earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage and utilities.
