Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Software Team with the design, development, and implementation of software solutions aligned to the Product Owner’s vision for the Hybrid Navy product baseline.
  • •Contribute to the design, development, and integration of software components within complex naval systems architecture.
  • •Develop and enhance software solutions using Agile and DevSecOps practices, delivering high-quality code and automated test capabilities.
  • •Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to drive successful team delivery and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
  • •Collaborate with engineers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define requirements, solve technical challenges, and deliver effective software solutions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 58,500

Key Requirements

  • •Software development experience in a structured engineering environment.
  • •Experience with CI and automated testing.
  • •Familiarity with using and integrating 3rd party software technologies.
  • •Ability to understand technical guidance within a DevSecOps approach and translate it into reusable design and code artefacts.
  • •Academic qualification in a STEM subject (or equivalent experience) and ability/willingness to become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineer.
