Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce parts by working from prints, method sheets, operation sheets, specification sheets, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • •Set up and operate machining equipment (e.g., small lathes, automatic machines, drill presses, lapping machines, pneumatic/hydraulic presses) and perform hydraulic tests as specified.
  • •Perform secondary machining and general assembly operations such as turning, boring, chamfering, and counterboring.
  • •Prepare and finish components (e.g., sandblast and run spot welding machine setups by others), including charging table plates with diamond paste.
  • •Inspect and report issues: check own work after first-piece checks, repair parts/seals as directed, and report faulty operations, defective material, and unusual conditions to the supervisor.

  • •Able to work within 50 miles of the Rumford, RI work location (active-duty military exempt).
  • •Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
