Key Responsibilities

  • •Tend processes that grind rock and ore using chemical reagents and steel balls to reach specified material fineness.
  • •Operate, inspect, and monitor crushing, processing, and refining equipment to achieve maximum ore recovery.
  • •Conduct pre-shift inspections and maintain written logs in an orderly, precise manner.
  • •Monitor tailings pond facilities and water treatment plant facilities, reporting issues to management and meeting Environmental Department objectives.
  • •Support concrete batch and paste plant operations, including coordinating daily workloads, sampling/testing for quality requirements, maintaining equipment and supplies, and performing basic maintenance and repairs as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Sufficient education to read and write instructions, perform simple mathematical calculations, and keep records.
  • •Prior experience in mining, metallurgy, or mineral processing industry or similar relevant experience is preferred.
  • •Ability to perform mechanical tasks within the scope of training and skills.
  • •Must be able to operate equipment including a forklift, loader, telehandler, and concrete mixer truck, and repair items such as v-belts, conveyors, air rams, water valves, aeration systems, and augers.
