Key Responsibilities

  • •Strictly follow all Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental (H&S) standards.
  • •Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery and equipment; replace broken or malfunctioning components.
  • •Reassemble equipment after inspections, testing, or repairs and operate newly repaired equipment to verify repair adequacy.
  • •Test mechanical products and equipment after repair/assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications; clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance.
  • •Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings; diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and record repairs and maintenance performed.

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment.
  • •High school diploma or GED certification preferred.
  • •Associate degree in Heavy Duty Truck or Heavy Equipment Repair and 2 years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • •Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • •Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
