Key Responsibilities

  • •Support installation, maintenance, and monitoring of corrosion control systems at an advanced level.
  • •Perform non-destructive testing and conduct continuity tests, soil resistivity surveys, and other special surveys.
  • •Install, test, adjust, repair, and troubleshoot rectifiers, anodes, and test points; address interference/foreign contact problems.
  • •Inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair cathodic protection tools and equipment.
  • •Compile and update reports and documents, including test readings, maps/diagrams, job orders, completion reports, and equipment maintenance reports.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5 years of related work experience in corrosion control, including cathodic protection tools and equipment use, function, maintenance, and repair.
  • •Experience supporting construction, maintenance, and line locating, including One Call System policies and procedures.
  • •Ability to read and interpret maps, drawings, procedures, plats, atlas pages, rectifier reports, and operation/repair manuals.
  • •Experience working with pipe coating, basic chemistry, electronics, and metallurgy.
  • •Ability to communicate written and verbal instructions and respond immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury.
