Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee complex electrical infrastructure new construction and renovation projects, including review and approval of electrical design plans for code and regulatory compliance.
  • •Apply electrical engineering techniques across concept, preliminary, final design, procurement, construction, and operations phases.
  • •Prepare and review electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, grounding, short circuit, coordination, arc flash) and develop one-line diagrams and protective relaying inputs.
  • •Lead MEP engineering projects including budgets, hour/expense tracking, subcontractor supervision, cost/quantity management, and technical calculations.
  • •Develop electrical plans/specs/cost estimates with coordination across owners, disciplines, and sub-consultants; provide technical reports, presentations, and QA/QC guidance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design work for large capital projects.
  • •Engineer in Training Certification.
  • •Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles and their application to permitting and project issues.
  • •Experience with infrastructure planning and design, including rehabilitation and new design projects.
