Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide special education instruction and services aligned to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) in a virtual environment.
  • •Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports, and other required special education documentation.
  • •Communicate with parents and related service staff; facilitate and lead collaborative special education meetings such as annual IEP meetings.
  • •Use accommodations and modifications (including assistive technology and accessible materials) to support inclusion and success in the general education classroom.
  • •Collect and analyze student data to monitor progress, prescribe remediation/enrichment, maintain gradebook integrity, and support synchronous/asynchronous learning experiences.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and active Arkansas state teaching license.
  • •Appropriate and current Arkansas Department of Education Special Education Teaching Certification.
