  • •Provide technical direction and oversight for the performance, reliability, and operational excellence of the West Coast Transmission compression fleet.
  • •Lead troubleshooting, root-cause investigations, condition monitoring, and equipment performance analysis to improve asset reliability and availability.
  • •Collaborate with Operations, Gas Control, Automation, Engineering, Projects, Supply Chain, OEMs, and vendors to support maintenance, capital projects, and continuous improvement.
  • •Develop technical recommendations, repair scopes, maintenance approaches, and overhaul plans for compression and power generation equipment.
  • •Monitor equipment health, reliability metrics, and efficiency targets; support commissioning/startup and facility modernization; provide technical guidance and mentorship to employees and contractors.

Key Requirements

  • •A related university degree or equivalent experience, plus seven-plus years’ experience OR nine-plus years of prior field operations experience, or an equivalent mix.
  • •Extensive experience in compression operations, maintenance, reliability, asset management, technical services, or a related field.
  • •Strong expertise in gas compression systems, turbomachinery, rotating equipment reliability, maintenance planning, and asset lifecycle management.
  • •Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical, risk-based solutions.
  • •Valid driver’s licence with a safe driving record.
