Job Summary

Perform quality control testing and related record keeping for concrete and aggregate products. Conduct and document concrete and aggregate tests, including moisture and field tests (air, slump, unit weight) and casting concrete specimens. Support quality issue resolution through customer interaction and coordination. Use basic materials knowledge for components like rock, sand, cement, fly ash, and chemical admixtures, while working flexible shifts and following safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Test concrete and aggregate products for quality and conformance to specifications.
•Conduct moisture testing at the plant and in the lab and perform concrete field testing (air, slump, unit weight).
•Cast and prepare concrete test specimens.
•Maintain basic material and quality records.
•Communicate effectively with dispatch, batch plant operations, drivers, and QC personnel to help resolve quality issues.
