Radiological Control Technician, Level III

Monitor radiological work areas to control exposure from internal and external radiation sources at the Y-12 National Security Complex and Pantex Plant. Recommend monitoring devices, protective equipment, and work timing; observe processes and evaluate data from radiation detective equipment, air and bioassay sampling. Investigate exceedances of guides/standards/limits, calibrate instruments, process TLDs, perform lung counts, support planning for new work, and serve on the emergency response organization.
