Key Responsibilities

  • •Review electrical design documents for tenant projects and Port Authority facilities to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and technical standards.
  • •Review TAA submissions, construction documents, electrical load and service calculations, specifications, and technical reports for completeness and compliance.
  • •Review electrical designs for tenant projects and Port Authority design audits, including medium-voltage systems above 600 volts.
  • •Coordinate review comments across multiple technical disciplines and prepare memoranda transmitting comments to line departments.
  • •Attend meetings with Tenant Architects/Engineers of Record to discuss review comments, resolve technical issues, and support project progress.

Key Requirements

  • •Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York and/or New Jersey required.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience with building electrical codes and systems, including medium-voltage systems (over 600 volts).
  • •Experience with fire alarm systems, cathodic protection, and radio frequency.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and serve as a liaison.
