Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess, investigate, and evaluate commercial claims from inception to resolution across multiple lines of business.
  • •Ensure claims are handled in compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
  • •Analyze claim data to identify trends and support detailed claim reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
  • •Coordinate and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate seamless claim processing and resolution.
  • •Negotiate and settle commercial claims, maintain accurate documentation throughout the claims process, and continuously improve claims handling procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Insurance or a related field.
  • •At least 5 years of experience in the general insurance claims sector, including at least 3 years assessing and managing commercial claims.
  • •Experience handling significant loss claims, NatCat claims, and reinsurance claims, with expertise in claims reporting.
  • •Singapore regulations and relevant legal frameworks knowledge (preferred).
  • •Mandatory certifications in Basic Insurance Concepts and Principles (BCP), Personal General Insurance (PGI), Commercial General Insurance (ComGl) and Health Insurance (HI) with Singapore College of Insurance.
