Key Responsibilities

  • •Report directly to the Operations Manager and ensure production targets are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • •Apply Value Stream Mapping to develop waste-reduction and optimization strategy.
  • •Implement waste reduction through cell design and define standard work for optimized processes.
  • •Improve cost and productivity by reducing waste and balancing operations, including a material delivery strategy linking shop floor and supply chain.
  • •Own process planning activities such as tooling/equipment development, manufacturing routing, PFMEA risk management, process certification, and documentation/implementation planning.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in an engineering-related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • •Demonstrable experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • •Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organisation.
  • •Experience leading Change Management.
  • •Prefer experience of MEMS manufacture and/or Lean Six Sigma green/back belt.
