Lead centralized PCI certifications for Adyen’s In-Person Payments platform, owning the PCI certification lifecycle (DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC, SSF) across hardware, software, and solution levels. Collaborate with QSAs, engineers, and leadership to ensure audit readiness year-round, proactive deadline management, and industry engagement to shape payment security standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Take central ownership of PCI Certifications for our Payments Solution, encompassing DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS, MPoC, and SSF.
•Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date inventory of all PCI certifications across hardware devices, software applications, and solution-level certifications.
•Track expiry dates, re-evaluation windows, and delta certification triggers; anticipate deadlines and ensure engineering teams are prepared well in advance of audit cycles.
•Act as the primary point of contact with QSAs and external assessors, managing timelines, preparing assessment materials, coordinating interviews, and navigating follow-up inquiries.
•Join vulnerability analysis and threat modeling sessions to provide practical, compliance-informed security guidance to engineers, translating requirements into actionable tasks without slowing development.

Key Requirements

•Deep subject matter expertise in PCI frameworks and standards (DSS, PIN/KMO, P2PE, PTS-POI, MPoC, SSF)
•Proven track record orchestrating complex compliance pipelines with multiple certifications and external assessors
•Technically fluent enough to sit with hardware and software engineers and provide practical, actionable compliance guidance
•Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
•PCI ISA certification is an advantage (not required)
