Job Summary

Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites safely as a Ready-Mix Driver. Operate the mixer truck on public highways and at job sites, inspect the vehicle each day, and complete required documentation. Adjust equipment for load conditions, follow maps and verbal/written directions, and assist with concrete delivery setup. Perform basic maintenance, keep the truck clean, and comply with DOT licensing, inspection, and hours-of-service rules.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport freshly mixed concrete from the plant to job sites safely.
•Operate the truck professionally on highways/roads, in the yard, and at job sites to deliver materials.
•Inspect the truck daily and complete the Driver Check-off Sheet to confirm systems function properly.
•Follow written and verbal instructions using city street maps/directions and complete necessary paperwork.
•Perform basic maintenance, keep the truck clean (spraying/cleaning after loads), and prevent concrete build-up in the mixer.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Must possess and maintain a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
•Must be 18 years or older and pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
•Must possess and maintain a valid medical card as per DOT requirements.
•Experience in ready mixed trucks or related industry preferred.
