Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on ground support equipment and MHE during turn-in processing.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per Army maintenance standards and applicable TMs.
  • •Service and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; troubleshoot faults using Army-approved diagnostic tools.
  • •Record maintenance/inspection results using DA Forms and Army systems (including GCSS-Army), and update condition codes and maintenance records for audit readiness.
  • •Follow OSHA, Army, and company safety policies while handling hazardous materials, and coordinate with supply/material teams to verify serviceability and documentation during turn-in operations.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience in GSE or MHE maintenance (Army or contractor environment preferred).
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements, including PMCS.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • •Ability to read TMs, schematics, and maintenance work orders, with strong attention to detail and recordkeeping.
  • •Ability to operate forklifts/cranes or other MHE with proper licensing (OF 346 or equivalent), plus basic English proficiency (reading/writing).
