Job Summary

Design and analyze satellite ground system behavior using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), translating requirements into validated interfaces and verification plans. Decompose system requirements, define system interfaces, and support Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) activities including baseline definition, test architecture, and verification/validation. Collaborate with systems, software, integration, and test teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities, participate in technical reviews, and support regression testing across releases.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical analyses and define system behavior using MBSE methodologies.
•Decompose system requirements, define system interfaces, and determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the integration and test team.
•Develop capability and feature designs to support Agile software engineering teams across the development lifecycle.
•Support program Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) activities including test process development, baseline definition, test architecture, and verification/validation.
•Participate in technical and design reviews and collaborate with systems, software, integration, and test engineers to deliver mission-critical satellite ground system capabilities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, including ConOps development, requirements definition/management, interface definition/control, and verification and validation.
•Experience supporting systems engineering or integration and test activities on a government contract.
•Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams for complex system development and integration.
•Active and transferable DoD TS/SCI security clearance required prior to start, with U.S. citizenship required to obtain/maintain clearance.
