Job Summary

Ensure accurate inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) control while driving insightful margin analysis to support profitability at the Sunderland manufacturing site. Maintain standard costs in JD Edwards, monitor stock movements and valuation, and analyze cost variances (including PPV) by product, customer, or production line. Partner with operations and cost centre owners to translate variances into actionable spend insights, and support budgeting, forecasting, VAT returns, and FP&A needs.

•Prepare and analyze cost variances, including material, labour, overhead, and purchase price variance (PPV).
•Perform detailed margin analysis to support profitability improvement by product, customer, or production line.
•Manage and control inventory accounting and reconcile WIP, ensuring accurate capitalisation and tracking within JD Edwards.
•Lead inventory counts/cycle counts and support VAT returns, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
