Join the Video and Edge Global Engineering team to help build and operate the global video transmission and multimedia processing infrastructure behind Video on Demand and Live Streaming. You’ll participate in production system management, incident response, capacity planning, and performance optimization. The role also involves developing automation, observability, and monitoring tools, and improving the full service lifecycle to scale reliably while reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

•Build global infrastructure for multi-media transport, storage, and processing for billions of users.
•Participate in global production system management, including monitoring, on-call emergency response, and capacity planning.
•Build tools, automations, and observability/monitoring to support operation and optimization of global infrastructure.
•Contribute to improving the service lifecycle from design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
•Scale systems sustainably using automation and initiate changes that improve reliability and processing speed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience.
•Strong programming experience with C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
•Knowledge of networking, operating system, database systems, and container technology.
•Understanding of microservice architecture and troubleshooting in large-scale distributed systems.
•Hands-on experience with open-source systems such as Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ELK.
