Job Summary

Execute catalyst preparation and disposal activities and support 24/7 pilot plant operations by running QC laboratory product analysis with safe, precise procedures. Serve as a specialist and influential non-supervisory leader by mentoring technicians, coaching troubleshooting and deviations, and driving process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability, and repeatable data. Collaborate with engineers, leadership, and maintenance craft; develop curriculum and participate in training review approvals.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the safe and efficient operation of catalyst preparation laboratories and the QC laboratory.
•Serve as the focal point for catalyst preparation and disposal activities supporting 24/7 pilot plant operations.
•Improve catalyst and QC lab performance by creating/improving procedures and solving complex problems.
•Coach while resolving process and lab deviations; drive adherence to life critical safety standards.
•Mentor technicians on QC analysis and response, identify knowledge gaps, and develop curriculum for training review boards.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent required.
•Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience required.
•Associate’s degree plus relevant work experience preferred.

•Demonstrated capability to safely and reliably operate laboratory equipment for catalyst preparation and QC analysis.
