Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible children and youth of service members at primary and secondary locations.
  • •Support DoDEA and community schools staff with DoD-based CYB services, including parent training and guidance.
  • •Deliver training and health/wellness presentations and participate in health fairs and installation activities.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web applications while maintaining confidentiality.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with community resources and ensure MFLC services are accessible while adhering to line-of-sight requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling) from an accredited program.
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license in Maine (LCSW, LMFT, LCPC, or Psychologist)
  • •Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience
  • •Proficiency with technology and software (Microsoft Suite, Internet navigation, video-conferencing)
  • •Ability to engage military members and families, and to work in school settings and on military installations
