Job Summary

Maintain and support distributed SCADA systems built on AVEVA System Platform across multiple tunnel sites in Qatar. Ensure uptime, safety, and reliability by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, backups, patching, and failover testing, while collaborating with OEMs and internal teams on improvements and cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for SCADA nodes and control rooms.
•Troubleshoot software, communication, alarm, and system performance issues.
•Handle system patching, backups, redundancy checks, and failover testing.
•Monitor historian data, alarms, system integrations, and overall SCADA health.
•Maintain logs, RCA reports, maintenance documentation, and change records; coordinate with OEMs/consultants for improvements and escalations.

Key Requirements

•5–6 years of hands-on SCADA maintenance experience, preferably in infrastructure or utilities.
•Strong knowledge of AVEVA System Platform, InTouch/OMI, Historian, and Galaxy Repository.
•Familiarity with PLCs (Schneider, Siemens, or Rockwell) and OPC UA/DA.
•Solid troubleshooting, reporting, and communication skills.
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering; AVEVA System Platform certification highly preferred.
