Job Summary

Own a shift-left engineering productivity and quality system for teams operating in a “QA-less” model, designing end-to-end QA/metrics across requirements, coding, testing, release, and production. Build and operationalize AI-driven testing and engineering workflows using AI infrastructure. Identify delivery bottlenecks, define productivity improvements, and evolve CI/CD, test-environment governance, and automation tooling to reduce the cost of quality while improving delivery speed and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and optimize a quality-assurance system and metrics framework across the full lifecycle for engineering organizations without dedicated QA.
•Build and ship AI-driven capabilities using AI infrastructure, including test generation, code review, targeted regression testing, fault diagnosis, and risk prediction integrated into workflows.
•Identify bottlenecks in delivery efficiency and quality, establish productivity metrics and improvement mechanisms, and use engineering and AI methods to shorten delivery cycles and reduce the cost of quality.
•Build and evolve engineering infrastructure such as CI/CD pipelines, test-environment governance, automated testing, and productivity platforms for shift-left quality.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of software engineering experience with several years of hands-on backend development; proven success leading a quality/efficiency initiative from 0 to 1 with measurable results is a plus.
•Expertise in Java ecosystem (Spring, microservices, middleware) or other backend languages (Go, C++, Rust); ability to independently design and build business systems; familiarity with CI/CD and test-environment governance.
•Practical AI engineering experience building AI agent applications (prompt engineering, tool orchestration, multi-agent collaboration, harness/loop) applied to testing or engineering-productivity scenarios.
•Familiarity with payments/financial business (acquiring, channels, clearing/settlement) and strict correctness requirements for money-handling systems.
•Distinct contributions in quality/productivity (systems building, open-source tools, platform products, patents, technical talks) plus strong cross-team influence and technical leadership.
